ADMISSIONS PROCESS
For Winter 2011 and Spring, Summer, Fall 2012
Welcome to the preschool admissions page. We hope that you will consider our school a place that your child and family can thrive. The admissions process has been created in a manner to give you a chance to know the school well before you apply. We want every family to feel assured that they have made the right choice for themselves and their child.
- The first step in the process is to schedule a parent tour with the Director. This step does not include your child, but rather it is an opportunity for you to view the school in progress, to hear about our philosophy and program, and to have your questions answered.
- If you are then considering applying to the school, the next step is to attend an orientation meeting where the Director will speak and you can ask further questions. This is for parents only.
- ALL Orientation Meetings are at 5:30 p.m. – Wednesday October 26th, Monday November 21st, Tuesday December 13th, Thursday January 26th, and Tuesday February 28th.
- If you wish to apply, applications will be handed out at the orientation meeting.
- Please complete the application packet, state the desired schedule for your child, and return it to the school with a $100 registration fee.
- Applications are due by Friday March 2nd.
- Spring and Fall Admissions decisions and admissions agreements will be mailed on March 6th.
- If you wish to apply for a partial or full scholarship, please note that request in your application. However, applications decisions will be made first without consideration for financial need, then the scholarship will be considered once your child is accepted. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis in a meeting with the Director.
- A visiting day at the school for your child will be arranged for a time closer to the beginning of school.
- To accept a place for your child at the preschool and to guarantee your child’s space and schedule in the school, please return the admissions agreement along with a $500 non-refundable deposit that will be applied to your child’s first tuition charges.
- The remainder of the enrollment packet will then be mailed to you.
- It must be completed a week before your child’s starting day.
- A $20 earthquake fee is due at that time.
